Regional Long-Term Care Wound & Ostomy Services – North Region Interim Coverage: Effective immediately, Kristen Avery-Girard and Tanya French will be providing shared coverage to the LTC care communities in the Fraser Health North region (Burnaby, New Westminster, Tri-Cities, and Maple Ridge), as well as covering their current care community areas, until the Regional Long- Term Care Wound & Ostomy Clinician position in the north is filled. Resuming use of bag valve mask (BVM) for resuscitation in Long-Term Care and Assisted Living Communities: Effective immediately, all long-term care and assisted living care teams can resume the use of BMV in resuscitations, as taught in current CPR and Basic Life Support courses. Long-Term Care Resident Satisfaction Survey: The LTC Resident Satisfaction Survey is continuing for Quarter 4 for all long-term care communities in Fraser Health.
